After years of debate on man-made global warming and even global warming in general, unless you are in government, tax payers have accepted the claims for what they are. Unfounded with no scientific evidence (other than man-made phony evidence) and have rejected the notion of behavior modification/control.
County Commission Chairperson Eilert never held a secret and unrecorded meeting that he didn’t like. Even following the discovery after nearly 4 years of citizen objections, these secret and unrecorded meetings are illegal under Kansas Open Meetings Act (KOMA).
So how does County Commission Chairperson Eilert handle these two dilemmas? He Chairs an illegal KOMA meeting to discuss just how many millions more tax dollars will be spent on a failed philosophy.

It really is worth your time to scan through this 34 page document. The majority of this summary discusses civilian county-wide use of electricity, automobiles and stuff that is none of their business. They compare municipalities against each other and even compare commercial versus Residential sources. Even measuring how far each county employee travels to and from work (mandatory mass-transit?). Once again, outside the purview of county government.
We will only address what they possibly have the authority to monitor.
County established goal to reduce green house gases (ghg) by 33% in the next 5 years (2020).
But on Page 10 of document we find current % levels of county government ghg…………….
This document reveals very near term plans to collect and use methane gas from wastewater facilities. Other options might include engineered/modified foods to produce less wastewater? Or how about alarmed disable proof butt plugs connected to smart meters? If the return on investments justified methane recovery it’s a no-brainer. But to do this for some Al Gore utopia of sustainability?
